Gold Leaf Series
A series of free-form organic-shape artworks on 12-by-12-inch (30-by-30-centimeter) square and 8-by-24-inch (20-by-60-centimeter) watercolor boards, featuring gold-leaf shapes and integral hand-cut matting. Intended for close viewing in intimate spaces, the works were small and finely detailed.
On the Wing
A conceptual poster imagining life in a hillside house with eyelash awnings beneath a Teflon-coated fiberglass-fabric hat. It was a creative escape from a career in urban design amid crowded streets, steel, concrete, cars, buses, and trains.
Eastside Rose
A copper-and-stainless-steel sculpture on a precast concrete base, proposed as a vehicle barrier at a downtown Northeast Portland intersection and paying homage to the "City of Roses."
Stained Glass Windows
Ornamental glasswork for two 12-by-60-inch openings framing an interior passageway and a 24-by-32-inch exterior bathroom window that added privacy and color. The bathroom window was built but not photographed.
