A family was building a house on a new neighborhood street at the base of Spencer's Butte. They needed an affordable landscape designer, and the project provided an opportunity to gain experience with a real client.
The work included base-plan measurements, site analysis, and proposals for drainage, front and back decks, and planting. The plant palette focused on shade- and moisture-loving trees, shrubs, and groundcovers.
