Max holds many industry certifications in systems engineering, networking, programming, and IT service management. He received a bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture and a master's degree in Architecture from the University of Oregon. He is also licensed by the State of Oregon in both these professions and certified by the National Council of Architecture Registration Boards.
Max transitioned into Information Technology after a decade as a licensed professional in the traditional building arts with an award winning architecture, planning and urban design firm. Over the last two and a half decades, he has performed as a leader of a management consulting firm, a builder of business information platforms, and a developer of data-driven web application products.
