College of Idaho campus plan proposing main entry, circulation, and building improvements.

CAMPUS PLAN

My use of graphite and color pencil on yellow tracing paper gave a time-worn and ethereal look to proposals intended to stimulate further exploration rather than fixate on specific solutions.

Contributed a couple of options suggesting how addition of gateway landmarks and ornamental perimeter fencing could create a campus main entry focal point.

The two new buildings in the proposal updated the traditional campus brick and stone to modern design methods, materials, and detailing. My illustrations showed these buildings as they might look after a decade or two, with mature landscaping and ivy growing on metal latticework attached to brick walls.
